Holy Crap!!!!!

Post written on March 5th:

On March 3rd, and 4th, I was seriously sick. I was throwing up and couldn't keep myself awake. It was crazy! I had no idea where it came from, but figured I'd gotten a stomach bug. In unrelated news, or at least I thought it was, I had also gained a cup size in my chest in less than a month. I could not figure out why and it was driving me crazy. I figured I was about to have my period and my body was messing with me, as it usually does before I start.

Well, it wasn't unrelated. On the 4th, we had plans to go to dinner with Sid, at 5 Guys, and we were going to call Senica and have dinner with her as well. Sid needed to deposit a check so we made a stop and a grocery store. Sid ran into the bank and did his thing, and Wil bought me a pregnancy test, mostly to rule that out. We continued on our way to 5 Guys for dinner. Senica surprised us all by showing up and announcing that she was visiting Utah for a week. We chatted and talked while everyone but me ate (I was still really nauseous so I didn't dare eat burgers), and then we went back to our place to play some games.

While we were playing Smash Up, I had to go to the bathroom. I decided to take the pregnancy test to get that out of my head and stop thinking about that possibility. Wil and I didn't really believe it was a possibility since we haven't been preventing pregnancy for over a year and nothing ever happened. We figured we'd need medical intervention to help. So I took the test, and washed my hands. I started to worry that the others would wonder why I was in the bathroom so long (since it usually takes about 3 full minutes before results show up, and they probably heard me flush the toilet and wash my hands). I was trying to think of an excuse, but a few seconds after drying my hands off, the result was there. IT WAS POSITIVE!

I was in complete shock. I hid the test so Sid and Senica wouldn't see it if they had to use the bathroom next. Now, how was I supposed to tell Wil with Sid and Senica in the same room? I decided to text him. I said, "I have something to tell you". He looked at me after reading and raised his eyebrows. I just nodded and tried to keep the huge grin on my face under control so Sid and Senica wouldn't notice. Wil beamed back at me, pulled me over to him and gave me a hug. He knew what I was trying to say. Senica and Sid didn't notice anything. It was an amazing night. I still felt a little sick and was exhausted, but I no longer cared.

I finally decided I wanted to tell Senica right away and I didn't mind that Sid was there as well, so I just blurted out, kind of quietly and shyly, that I was pregnant. Senica freaked out. She almost knocked the game table over. It was awesome! Sid was more of what I expected. He smiled and congratulated us. After that, I gave up on trying to stay awake and went to bed.

I am still having trouble believing that I'm pregnant! I'm so excited.
