Wil and I decided we would definitely be moving to Magna. He and Nate have been cleaning it up when Nate has a day off. We've been there a lot in the past week, trying to take care of things. They vacuumed the carpets and used the carpet cleaner to try to get the stains Rain made out of it. The smell is pretty much gone, but the stains are still there. On Wednesday, Mom and Dad came over and helped me clean the kitchen and my bedroom. There's still a ton that needs to be done though. Dad cleaned my kitchen where Rain had made a mess. Mom and I went through the food in the cupboards and got rid of all the stuff that's expired. It's so much better now.
Dad discovered that my water shut off valve doesn't work (or doesn't exist), and I don't seem to have a pressure regulator so that is the reason my water pressure is so awful. We can't move in until that gets fixed. Also, we have a TON of spiders. We don't want to live there with spiders everywhere either.

So, we called a plumber. It'll cost us $500 to get the plumbing fixed (lovely). We purchased bug bomb type things and will use those sometime soon as well as using something from Aaron and Dad that will create a barrier around the house so no more bugs come inside. I'm not looking forward to cleaning up all the dead bugs...blech!
Yesterday, we had Wil's youngest brother, Jake, and his friend come over to look at our carpets. The one in the living room needs to be replaced, at least in spot that Rain used all the time. The padding is still soaked and is soaking into the base boards, which is really bad. Aaron said he can probably get us a good price for carpet, so I hope we hear back from him soon so we can do that. I think we'll do the bug stuff first and then take care of the plumbing and carpeting.
Anyway, Nate asked Wil to be his best man, and Megan asked me to be on of her bridesmaids. I'm so excited! Megan, Brittany Kenner (another really good friend of ours), and I are going shopping for our dresses on Wednesday. We looked at some dresses online and in a magazine yesterday and we are pretty sure of what we want to go with. We'll probably be wearing cocktail type dresses since they are getting married in June and they are so cute! I can't wait to have a girls night with two of my favorite girls in the world! Chris, Brittany's husband, and Peter are the groomsmen for the wedding.
Megan has already purchased and picked up her dress, which is gorgeous! I'm so excited for Nate and Megan. Their colors are red, black, and white. Brittany and I will probably end up wearing black dresses with a white sash while Kim, Megan's maid of honor, will wear a black dress with a red sash. I don't think anything is decided for sure yet though. I can't wait until June!
